World of Alternative Investments

Please join Chicago Financial Women, along with Sidley Austin, LLP (host) and 100 Women in Hedge Funds for a round robin with small tables hosted by women leaders speaking about the many different career options in the hedge fund industry.

This year's event is a follow-up to last year's panel discussion led by women hedge fund managers. Like last year, we would like this to be an event that will provide an opportunity for women to learn about career opportunities in the hedge fund industry that cover the many differing areas of specialty - things like accounting, law, marketing, finance, information technology, portfolio management, and compliance.

Our goal is to provide an opportunity for networking and education about the industry in a more informal environment than last year's panel presentation.

Over the course of the evening, you will spend approximately ten minutes visiting at six tables, each hosted by one of our featured speakers. Each host will discuss with you her role in her organization and in the investment community at large. Over the course of the evening (which we anticipate will last approximately 90 minutes), you will have networked closely with a small group of women, some of whom are known leaders in their field.
